Den ikoniske Escort ble produsert mellom 1968 og 2004 av Ford Europe. Mk.II ble produsert fra 1975 til 1980, en frontmotor, bakhjulsdrevet bil med ett klassisk karosseri. RS1800 ble utstyrt med en høyytelses DOHC 4-sylindret motor og ble grunnlaget for en vellykket rallybil forrallyteam som sikret produsent- og sjåførmesterskap i 1979. Nå er denne rallylegenden gjenskapt i et radiostyrt byggesett , med en lexankarosseri som nøyaktig fanger den tidløse stilen. Basert på det allsidige MF-01X-chassiset, vil det gi mye moro på både vei og rallyunderlag.

★Plenty of separately molded parts up the realism - spotlights, headlight cases, bumper and side mirrors.
★Here is a close-up on the side mirror design. Window sections come pre-painted in tinted Smoke (PS-31).

 


★The square lines of the rear are artfully depicted, with the spoiler on the boot also captured.
★Eight-spoke light blue wheels are paired with 60mm-diameter, 26mm-width rally block tires for great grip.

MF-01X - Compact 4WD At Home on a Range of Surfaces
Based around a tough monocoque frame with integrated gearboxes, this compact 4WD chassis gives a thrilling drive whether you take it on road or flat dirt surfaces. It features a rear-mounted motor, with gear-driven rear wheels and a propeller shaft taking power to the front. Both front and rear gearboxes have differential gears. The battery pack location in the chassis center secures excellent balance, while 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension employs friction dampers. Off-road capable M-05Ra chassis uprights and hub carriers are also included, and 8-spoke wheels are paired with rally block tires.

 


★This chassis features highly capable 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension, with friction dampers front and rear.
★A slimline three-piece monocoque forms the centerpiece of the MF-01X chassis, and the propeller shaft is positioned to the right.
★The motor is planted in the 4WD chassis' rear, with power going via gears to the rear wheels and propeller shaft to the front.
